Without a wall directly behind the front seats, this thread is hopeless. And frankly, that wont be an easy job either. Just imagine the surface area needed for four 18" subs and, what, 300-400 sq inches of port? Its ridiculous honestly. The fact you bought 4 of those subs, for that car, tells me you probably dont have the knowledge or expertise to build such a setup. Give some of your money to a local shop.

In fact, this thread and request in general are silly no matter what. For four xxx 18's installed -correctly- you practically need a stretch van, and you're insisting someone 'make this work' with a slightly-larger-than-mid-size sedan with a trunk. You might as well have bought a jet engine to fit in that car.

I know i can fit three sealed in there,But those 18's are made to be ported. If so i will Use two if ported. if you empty out the truck i have 16 cubes to play with.

I'm not trying to stuff them in there. Im just looking for a monster system all around

You can't fit 3 sealed. Where will you place the driver. That's 54" of driver face area. Not including the space in-between each driver of at least 2 inches minimum. So we are at about 60" total. Not going to happen. 2 ported require 20ft^3. You could choke them off and run them facing the cabin. But you will no longer have a backseat. And would be better off running one ported.

Last but not least, your electrical system I'm guessing consists of a stock battery and a cap. That will not suffice.

I call BS anyway. Just like Omegattt. There is no way in hell anyone is stupid enough to purchase expensive equipment with ZERO install knowledge. Let me go buy 4 jackhammers for my SUV and not worry about my suspension...

You are not going to use all of your trunk space unless you run IB, in which case you MIGHT be able to fit one in that small area behind the rear seats.

I have a caprice, 20 cube trunk, and realalisticly I didn't even want to bother trying to fit ONE ported in my trunk.

If you really do have 4 XXX 18's and are dead set on fitting them in there and slamming. Sell 3... not two, 3. 1 in a proper enclosure will more than scare the shit out of MOST people. You'll probably have to build in trunk, and you may even have to fire up (not my first choise for a trunk), but you can do it. Give it about 2000 real watts and you'll be thrilled.

I've heard a proper 18XXX install... heard it for hours. If you need more than that daily you probably can't hear somone yelling directly in your ear.

you can't successfully fit that many of those woofers in yur trunk. i never even thought of surface area. 1 18 ported should put the fear of god into ya. then with your hole trunk consumed by 18's, where are you gonna put the amps, and 2nd batteries? those orions are beasts and you'll need like 2 250 amp alts, possibly more.

also, before i bought my car due to better gas milage, i had a 95 jeep grand cherokee and was gonna run an 18" xxx in it. the box i designed was 7.5 cubes net, tuned to 35 hz. with 120 sq. in. of port and the external dimensions took up 10 cubes. with 28. hz. that means a longer port and more space taken up by the port. bottom line is i could just fit 1 18" xxx comfotably in my jeep so i don't see how the hell you are gonna fit multiple, or 1 for that matter in a car.

take out your back seats, turn it into a blow through setup, sedan style.

man u sound like that kid over at SIN that got 2 XXX18's ported in a SUV and then wants to take them off because its too much for him, he says that he gets nausea(sp) and feels like throwing up.. basically he cant drive with it...dont be an idiot... if you wanna be cool around ur area glass ur trunk and fit 2 in there sealed.. i mean 2 xxx18's sealed will be more than enough, ****.... 1 ported would be more than enough, btw i have a single xxx15.. u should of gone with 15's instead, then there you could of done something, but hey, if u wanna trade one of those 18's for my 15 im up.
