3" Mid add-on??

So looking for a 3" midrange add-on to my 6/5/tweet, I know Hertz makes the HL-70, and Focal has the KRX 3" that you can find. I have friends that have the Focal and they sound good but HOLY MONEY BATMAN.

Anyone heard the Hertz and have some feedback?

Other option is ordering something off of partsexpress.com but its a total gamble, anyone ordered a 3" from them? which one was it and how did it sound?

Other options would be awesome, not finding a ton of stuff.

Check out the 3 inch tang bands.... I have tried a lot of stuff and always end up back at the tang bands

CDT has a couple of options we could discuss.

I would start looking at the fullrange raw drivers on sites like Parts Express or Madisound. Most are way cheaper and certainly work fine in the xover range you are looking for. I wouldn't worry at all about using Parts Express. If you look around on a few other forums, some of the drivers on there have been full documented, and parts express has a good rep.
