3 quick h/u wiring ?s

i grabbed the metra harnesses that were suggested for my car but i ran into a few problems while trying to wire everything together...i have an eclipse cd7000 if that matters.

i'm not sure what to do with the orange illumination wire because there's no connecting wire with the harness, so how will i make that work?

my second problem is the power antenna...im not sure what the best option to connecting to that adapter head on the blue wire

my last question is should i ground it straight from my head unit to the chassis of my car, or ground through the harness?

Shouldn't need the illumination wire.

Cut off the quick disconnect end and use a butt connector.

Factory ground in the harness should be fine.

I would take the extra step and ground to the firewall or something accessible using 12 gauge and ring terminal with a self tapping screw.

whats the use of the illumination wire anyways?

shall i ground straight to the car, or would i be fine cutting off the end piece and just connecting it to the car harness?

and id like to double check and make sure i can disconnect the quick connect on the power antennae

Nothing wrong with the factory ground.

Illumination wire is for HU's that are able to dim to the same brightness as your dash lights.
