Im sorry i should have mentioned that! Ill edit the info in... Its a 2004 honda civic coupe, i have a lanzar opti2000d. Trunk space i want to work with is 36(w)x 14(h)x 32(l) max. Thanks for the reply brian! Much appreciated.

no worries. being that those subs are SVC, i would definetly go with a sealed box. just sitting here playing with some numbers, 28x10x7 will get u to around 1.13cuft before displacement. those subs call for .35cuft per. hope this helps or atleast gives u starting point.

Thank you brian! ill deffinatlly use that as one of my templates! And Guys, Does anybody else not recommend porting this box? Ive seen a few people port it and it sounds very good! they say it has Sq and its pretty loud for 8s. Another question is people also recommenced giving each 8 about .8-1 ft each, will this be a bad idea from users who have tried this? Last question is if i do go sealed, would going over the .35 recommended box size for each sub effect sq? Sorry for all of the questions and do really do appreciate you guys at the site.

I think i may end up going the ported way, it should still have the SQ, itll be louder, and will hopefully hit some lower freqs. Ive seen the aero ports everywhere and think i may use it on this build! Does anybody elese think 1stgen's idea "ported... .75 each... 2.25 NET... with a 4" aero" will be a good box for these subs? again thanks to you all.

I've always sealed svc subs and ported dvc subs. It's just ones opinion, and had no problem doing it this way. Apparently u guys have and there's nothing wrong with that either, if it worked.
your way is not necessarily wrong but dont think its because of the coils more of a personal preference
