which box is better

Okay I have a soundstream t6 15 inch subwoofer and I was looking at two boxes to get. The sub is recommended 2.5 cubic ft. And one box is 3.5 cubic ft and the other is 2.77, I know when you put the sub in the box it reduces the cubic ft. So I was wondering which box would be a better choice?

Okay well the amp I have is a brutus 1500 mono block and the smaller box is ported normal at 38 hz and the bigger box is labrynthian ported at 35 hz

Neither ..prefab is crap..pay to get a custom box designed/built

Its never good to go with a prefab/generic box. Its always better to go with a box that is designed and built for your specific sub. Not only for the tuning and overall accuracy, but also for the quality of construction. A lot of prefab boxes do not have bracing or accurate port designs or double-baffled faces.
