I'm kind of doing it a weird way, but I've assebled the box with screws today. Tomorrow I'm going to take it apart, glue the seams, and put it back togethor with a power drill. Then I'll drill the hole for the sub, and carpet it. Tell me what you think, it's my second ported box attempt. My first, I didn't have any plans at all, and there were huge chunks missing. Not a good scene, anyways, here at the pics:

The original plan, found in Moe Lester's sticky:

This is what I've done so far:

so where are you puting the sub? id have it close to the opening of the port on the front, but it doesnt look like theres enough mounting depth there
There is, I'm putting in a 15" RE SX, and the mounting depth is 7.875". I have a slight bit over 8" to work with, so it would be cutting it close, but I could mount it close to the opening of the port. Is this recommended?

I don't know where you got those numbers, but I'll take your word for it. Two other quick questions:

1) What gague wire should I use inside the box to wire the sub up to the terminal/amp? It's going to get anywhere from around 900-1200 watts rms.

2) Which way should I face this enclosure in my cherokee, sub/port facing the rear, or sub/port facing up?
