3,000 rms on Stock Alt? yes or no

do you think my stock alternator has enough juice to charge (2) optima yellowtop g31's and (2) sundown 1500's

Want to know if i can get away with this without spending the $500!!! i got quoted for an alt

you may be able to get away with it, but you definately will not see 3000RMS.

i wouldnt do it.

send mechman a PM, he does a perdy good job of hooking up forum members, and mechman alts are SOLID

I did it alright on my Dakota's 140 amp alt, but I don't know if an Accord alt will cut it.

i dont want to go through the trouble of investing in (2) batteries and 1/0awg runs if my alt wont even be able to keep the batteries charged.

Just trying to estimate i guess there's not way of telling unless i tried tho?

105 amp is what i found, its possible if you do the big 3 and run some big batts i am running one zx1500 and one zx850.4 and only have 130amp alt and the 2 grounds on the big 3 done and a stinger spv70 in the back voltage at idle full tilt is at 13 at the amp
