pdx amps are stable from 1-4 ohms and put out a 1000 watts at those ohms so it's good.

can i do this with a pdx-4.150?

bridged it to 300X2 @ 4ohms and use it to power my 3ohm front components only?

the system i'm setting up will consist of front components in the doors and a sub in the trunk. there will be no rear speakers.

well i've narrowed my amp choices down to the pdx-4.150 and the hd600/4. my concern is i'll be running the amp bridged so it puts out 300X2 but i need that at 3ohms. i know the jl amp can do it and i've talked with alpine and they say the pdx will do it but may run slightly warm. has anyone here ran the pdx amps at a 3ohm load? how did it perform?

unless changes were made, they are only 2 ohm stable.
