Up your budget about 25 bucks and you can do much better SQ than the Rs sealed and still sound loud =)

The reason I need a sealed box is limited space. I'm building these into a cargo box and can only get about 1 ft^3 per sub. And as for type x, only got about 250 max for these

Well I haven't been able to find out much about Diamonds, but what if I put a basic port into my custom boxes? Would that bring out the sound of the Type Rs?

I can't believe no one caught the sealed box part. Type Rs WANT ported. If you're going sealed, i suggest going with the RE SEs for about the same price.
