2nd battery?

id go with a second alternator wired to a second battory, not even connected with the car's elctronics. Or you can just parallel wire a second car audio battery

with a switch inbetween the two batteries, so you can disconnect the two when the car is off and cjust run it off the spare battery, then when the car is on you can reconnect them , letting the alternator charge it back up

PS. have a HO alternator nomatter what

i was wondering what the cheapest easiest way to wire a second bettery in was and what i would need to put one in. i want to be able to run my system with the car off for a long period of time without killing the battery quickly. whats the best way to do this?

pos to pos and neg to neg. without the subs on i can run my car's stereo for many hours.

^ correct but you will also need a relay to shut down the rear batt from the front with the car off
