Alright, I jsut installed my HC2000 the other day. I rode around for a while today giving the system a good beating, and then tonight it seems as if the Kinetik died on me. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif It started acting like it wasn't there, lights dimmed and amps cut out like before. My first though is my alt isn't big enough to charge that and the red top (stock 140amp). Any input?

I have a postive to positve run on the two batterys with 0/1 gauge. And it is grounded in the back with like a 8" wire of 0 gauge on some nice shiny metal. And no isolater.

run neg to neg as well.

Easier said than done, in order to get to the battery I have to out EVEYRTHING.

No the battery is brand new. I am not sure if it drains over-night, I don't think so because yesterday it was supplying power pretty **** good after its second night installed.

dont worry if you bought it new from a dealer its under warranty but i will almost 100% guaranty the negitive will cure the issue. i ran into the same issue before and i also know people who have grounded to the back with success. best way is with the neg and positive cheapest (if it works )is doing it the way you did.

run a heavy gauge wire from battery neg unscrew the ground you have and connect it to that end as safely as you can if it starts to charge the battery solid its a good indication its working. in that reguard i found the kinetiks pretty tough to kill. when you hook up a second battery its always a good idea to test the resting voltage after the first few time you use it to make sure its getting a propper charge sometimes its the ground and even sometimes when you think somethng is totally secure its not. i have been guilty of that a few times by not testing it after its been under a load. too bad you didnt live close i have a 0 ga coupler
