help with compression distrobution

i bought this distrobution block but i cant figure out how to use it.

i know this seems really stupid but there is nothing to like make the wire stay after you shove it into the block.

how does this thing work exactly?

dont flame me but i feel like a money trying to put a puzzle togather.

Cut the wire so it overlaps the edge and folds over the smooth outer part of the tube then screw it in.

thanks man thats what i though but it just didnt seem like that would give it good enough of a connection, but i guess if i pull more wire threw it will be better
