2nd battery in the trunk

I have a Kinetik HC2400 that will be in the trunk with my amps when they come in. The 2 amps that I have will be a Rockford Fosgate T20001BD (1500-2500 watts 2-1ohm) and a Rockford Fosgate T8004 (200-250 X 2 @ 4 ohm). My question is that on the Kinetic manual it says to put 2 fuses on the power line from my front battery to this in the rear which I am unsure of the reason of 2 and not just 1. Also it says that I won't need any fuses from the Kinetic to the amp, but my thinking is that this would leave these unprotected. Is it standard for everyone to fuse the power line close to the main battery and then again close to the rear battery with no fuses going to the amps from the rear battery? Sorry this is so long.

if you cut the wire in the middle it will blow the front fuse. so what happens to the back battery you didnt fuse now that the wire is grounding out. and why go off the battery manual about fusing your amp?

so fuse the power wire close to each battery and also fuse each amp.
