2nd Battery Ammount of ground needed?

I'm installing a 2nd battery in the rear. My amps are 1000 Mono and 500 Watt 4 Channel.

So I have 1 4 Guage wire that comes from my front battery to my rear, both amps use 4 Gauge. Audio shop pulled some bs that I have to buy a whole spool of the next gauge so I just got extra 4 Gauge for my battery ground.

I am planning on using 2 wires of 4 Gauge for my rear battery ground, should I add a 3rd one or will 2 suffice?(I will have extra if it will make any difference then it is ok)

1 Big 3 Question, I did just Engine to Chassis and noticed a little difference I am now going to do Battery to Chassis and Alt to Battery tomorrow.

One thing I noticed(I'm not 100% sure if its stock by the looks of it my vehicle has been through a lot of changes under the hood) that my battery Negative goes to the Engine Block not the Chassis, should I move it to the chassis? Or just add another wire?(The wire on it that goes to the Chassis currently is at least 4 Guage) Is this wire suppose to be connected to the Engine? Or did someone replace it in the wrong spot?

a single run of 4 gauge for your ground is fine, but 2 won't hurt.

As for the existing engine to battery ground, you can just leave it in place and add another from the bat to chassis.
