280zx Stereo System Build Help

Hello all,

I am new to this forum so please bear with me. My 1982 280zx is my first car and it has virtually no stereo in it so I will be pretty much working from the ground up.

Blueprints for install

Head Unit: ~$150

Kenwood Excelon KDC-X598

Speakers: ~$100

Polk DB691 6x9 (125w RMS @4ohms)

Speaker Amp: ~$100

Polk Audio PA330 2 channel (75w RMS @4ohms)

Subwoofer: ~100

Kicker 10CVR122 Comp VR DVC (400w RMS @2ohms)

Sub Amp: ~100

JVC KSAX3201D Mono Class D (400w RMS @2ohms)

I will also need wire and boxes for my speakers/sub

I know nothing about car audio so I DO need to get my system installed somewhere. I know nothing about what a good price would be though.

My budget for total install is ~$900

If you guys have any suggestions let me know!
