Pretty sure your electrical system draws from the alternator when the vehicle is running, not the battery.well wouldnt the problem be that the amp is drawing current from a single yellow top? for that amp wouldnt it be better to have a second amp and probably since he might have another amp for mids and highs on the same single yellow top.
Have you ever thought about removing the ground you have running from the distro block to the battery negative and just ground to the best spot closest to the amp?here's a link to the thread where i ran my wires: http://www.caraudio.com/forums/car-audio-build-logs-cars-trucks-suvs/510180-lets-start-already.htmland here's the box build and install: http://www.caraudio.com/forums/car-audio-build-logs-cars-trucks-suvs/516082-build-log-dgaf-2-sa-15s-vinyl-wrapped-double-kerfed-enclosure-amp-rack.html
For the most part, the battery is just there to start the car. You can start the car with your batt, then disconnect while the car is running, and the alt will keep the car going. The alt is far more important than the batt.doesnt the alt just recharge the battery?
