2 hifonics brutus 1200w rms amps, 2 12" power accoustic mofo's 1200w rms subs, i plan on wiring one 1200w amp to each sub individualy @ 1 ohm. is this a good set up ? i have a few questions.

1. what size alternator will i need ?

2. is powering two amps better than powering one amp ?

3. when the rca from the crossover goes into one amp, and i link the first amp to the second amp from the first amps line output, will the second amp have the exact signal from the crossover ? for example if i adjust the frequency on the crossover, will both subs have the same output ? does daisy chaining the amp effect anything ?

4. what else should i keep in mind / look out for, for this set up ?

1. what size is your alt right now. If its up in the mid-high 100s range A, you should be ok.

2. 1 big amp is best so you know there is no signal conflict, but to each his own.

3. already been answered.

4. you should find out if your gettin the best for your money. may i ask, how much you're gonna be spending on all this equipment.

mtx my bad for any misunderstanding, and thankz enellz for a str8 answer. but i got the big 3, a truck sized battery in the front of my car, and another battery made for sounds in my trunk,all i need is another altenator maybe, but thanks anyway.
