I wouldn't buy new, you can get a nicer car for less money. Let someone else get hit with the new car depreciation, then buy it off them for a few thousand less.

You can buy a brand new Camry for that price....Reliable and plenty of rear seat room....
Camry is not what it used to be. read the reviews, rent one and drive one for awhile, they are lacking

I wouldn't buy new, you can get a nicer car for less money. Let someone else get hit with the new car depreciation, then buy it off them for a few thousand less.
or you may be buying someone elses problems or junk. people treat their cars like shit these days.

We just picked up a 2009 Altima 2.5S, power seats, sunroof, alloy wheels, tint, all power. the misses really wanted a **** sunroof, but we walked out for $21k.

sticker+taxes would have been 29k. we put down $10k

it depends on whether you will keep the car for the long haul or not, but anything over $10k should be something you plan to keep for 7-10 years.

What about a bonneville. Very reliable and good room in the back. Dont look to bad either. They stopped making them in 05 but you can prolly get one at half cost due to depreciation. We got ours(03) for 16,000 in 04 with only ~29,000miles. They are great cars. The 3800s run forever.

Just under 21K is roughly the starting price for a '09 v6 Dodge Challenger. If you have a family member with a Chrysler employee discount they are under 20 grand. If my credit wasn't already tied up I'd be at a dealership to get one already. The v6 is only available in auto but it's still 250 ponies and has plenty of rear leg room for a coupe.
