2021 Camry. Where to start.

I bought a 21' Camry SE.

It has this screen that probably isn't easily replaceable.
Normally I'd install a single DIN deck but I'm guessing I keep this screen and install a line out converter?

I've never used one.


My old setup is in a 99' Avalon. Pioneer head unit, Skar interior speakers and amp (75 per channel), Incriminator 3k sub amp powering to 12" XFLs.

The plan is to reuse the sub stage for sure, and hopefully the Skar interior amp.

Only thing I can think of is the lack of options for sound tailoring and pre-set eq curves to protect the OEM speakers. Today's OEM radios connect to the phone quite well, so no lack of music options there.
Like you stated, you will need an LOC to integrate any amplifier and if the bass diminishes as volume rises, you can install an epicenter to bring it back.

Can I get some specifics on Line Out Converter use?

Where does the signal come from?
Where do people normally connect to?

Any tips, instructions are greatly appreciated. Suggestions for gear also appreciated.
I would like a better understanding before I start buying and installing.

I have an Incriminator Audio 3k. I need to buy a new 4 channel amp. Im thinking 75w per. I will replace all 4 door speakers

The biggest problem with a factory unit is losing bass as you increase the volume. Factory systems are designed for that to prevent blowing out speakers.

You can get a DSP with a volume knob. When you want the stereo louder, you use the volume knob on the DSP. There are few companies that make them. You will have to decide how much you are willing to pay when you decide which one to get. They range from about $150 to over $500.

Looking at Crutchfield for options and it looks bleek. However, Android head units may fit the bill.

Yes that is a picture of my radio type.


I came across AudioControl LC-4.800.
Im not sure it fits the bill. It has Accubass, some Bass restoration?

It's $500 some bucks. If it works and is decent quality I could swing it.
