2019 Nissan Frontier SV

Doing an install next week on a 2019 Nissan Frontier SV crew can 4.3” factory head unit, no amp.

putting in

JVC KW-V25BT
Axxess ASWC1 to maintain steering wheel controls
Hardwiring the factory reverse camera
It has the 40 pin connector
Jerry at Axxess sent me the photo so I knew what wires to tap into

Has anyone installed in this vehicle before? Anything surprising?

I have already pulled the head unit out and sent pics to axxess to make sure on the 40pin. Jerry mentioned he has seen 3 different 40pin configurations on this year Frontier.

Oh and I am replacing the factory door speakers with some Kenwood coaxial. The factory are 2 ohm and the JVC will not handle 2 ohm. But I am gonna leave the factory tweeters hooked up.

this is for a coworker and she is 52. So she is not looking for much, just better sound than factory.

Well I got a Axxess AX-NIS40SWC wiring harness. And thanks to Jerry Ferguson at Axxess its gonna be a simple plug and play

On this wiring where the yellow line is at, that should be grounded. Where the red line is at is where the ground from the RCA should go.

On the steering wheel controls I will want the black wire of the ASWC1 and Pin 15 grounded. Pin 6 will be the green/blue wire from the ASWC1. Pin 16 will be the grey/red wire from the ASWC1

I am gonna take all the grounds from the wiring harness, and the aftermarket radio and ground to frame. This way I can eliminate any crappy grounds from the factory
