2014 Dodge Dart SXT Speakers

I bought a 2014 Dart last week and am looking to upgrade the speakers. I'm going to have one 12 in the back on about 1k RMS that was build off of a TC9 motor by PSI for me. The front stage is 6x9's in the doors and 3.5's in the dash. Would like to stay under $300 for the front speakers. What should I put in there? I'm torn between putting 6x9's back or getting some 6.5" components. I have up to 150 RMS to send to each front channel. Thanks for any suggestion.

You may want to pull a front 6x9 to check your actual clearance back there, but I think you could put in a good 6x9 component set. We have a budget friendly CDT set with 6x9 woofers and 1" silk tweeters for around $200. If you could come up to $350 you could do MX-2692. Both sets will do fine on 150W, but MX-2692 has 2" mid/tweeters and much, much better crossovers that would have you ready to upgrade to a 3-way.

Thanks for the reply Trumpet, I ended up picking up some ID ctx65cs components to throw in there. Everyone seems to like those for the money so hopefully I will enjoy them. I appreciate the feedback though.
