I was looking to get some aftermarket speakers for my 2011 mustang. I was looking around crutchfield. and they say that the 2011 mustang can only fit 5.25" speakers in the front doors and rear deck. Is this true? I was looking to put 6.5" in the rear deck but they say those size speakers will not fit.

Crutchfield wont lie to you when they could charge you more for bigger speakers lol...

I wasnt planning on purchasing speakers from them, I was just looking through the speakers on their website. I was looking at getting some focals. So i shoulod just put buy four 5.25" speakers? for the back and front? Or do i need a different type or size speakers in the back to complement the 5.25" in the front. The 5.25" come with tweeters so I dont want to purchase an extra pair of tweeters

You should be able to fit 8" mid-bass drivers in your doors. Easily...

Take off the door panel and have a look.
