my friend bought my system off of me yesterday and we hooked it up in his 02 bonni. and every thing hooked up perfect. we went to the local car audio shop they said to put a 200a for the fuse so thats what we got. The gains on the amp was not even halfway. The subsonic filter was on. No bass boost. It was hooked 2 a stock cd player with a loc. It sounded perfect. He woke and drove to school and it popped all 3 of the amp fuses and started smoking. He put new fuses in it and still no power. whats the deal.

It's not the fuses fault. Look elsewhere for your problems. Double and tripple check your install before you hook up another amp.

what would i look for? the ground is at the seat belt bolt. the batteries are under the back seat of bonnis. the remote wire was already ran. i tied in to the back speakers with a LOC. Some one who had the car be for had the same thing i did in it. It is hooked to the positve post. not the positve battery post. what other ideas could the set up be wrong?
