well the cavs lost the opener....lakers about to play. They seem the favorite to win it all this season. should be interesting

I'm really hoping the blazers, spurs, and maybe even the clippers give them a run for their money. At the beginning of the season people always forget the blazers, Chicago, Atlanta and such for nice contenders. I'm a rockets fan, but since T mac is out for a while and Yao maybe the entire season I dunno. But I like DC ( since Im from Maryland), Clippers, and Orlando. Meh to the Lakers, I just don't want it like Yankees to baseball

Good luck on that Clippers stuff, their already off to a bad start losing Griffin for 6-8 weeks and they really have no other PF type guys in there just a bevy of centers and tweener guards...

FYI, Yao being out for the season is not a maybe, it's definite, the Rockets filed for an injured player exception on Yao which means that he will not be allowed to play this season...they used that money to sign Ariza (instead of using their MLE) which saved them some money and let them buy the rights to Andersen...

I like the Blazers, but they always seem to disapoint, and now there are supposedly chemistry issues and playing time squables, its way too early in the season for that kind of nonsense...Oden needs to hurry up and prove himself though, I know that much...

I'm amped for the season, as a Magic fan I hopefully have a lot to look forward to, lot's of story lines to follow within my own team this season as well as the whole league...

watching this Lakers/Clippers season opener, 9 turnovers for the Clippers in the first quarter, yea Clips looking good out of the gate...
