2008 Jeep Wrangler build....

It is a 4cyl? If so that thing is gonna be a super turd with those heavy wheels and tires //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif
no its a V6...only engine offered in the 2 door wranglers...its 205hp plus about 200lbs of torque...I don't have the brochure here to check exact specs....

Your back seat problem is because of the wires you have ran underneath the seat. If you did your ground on the bolt (on either side) thats right by the seat then just move the wire around and put some pressure on it and it will latch. it took me a while to get too
no its grounded in the back on the bolt where the rear door hinges...i've looked for wiring in the way...i may play with it tomorrow...to see...if i discover wiring somewhere prohibiting it to close..so .i can go ahead and take it out....

That Jeep install brings back bad memories. Years ago I installed a system in a friend's jeep and he wanted to make it a little harder to steal, so we went to my grandfather's shop and I tack welded every bolt used to tie down the enclosure and amp.

Six months later, he calls me telling me that he is trading his jeep in and we need to pull the system. As fate would have it, my grandfather's one cutting torch was awaiting replacement parts and I had to cut all of those fricking bolts with a sawzall.

i just gotta get some textured paint for it. and do some more sanding of course

Edit: the port is under the amp rack (its an external 3" pvc pipe)

oh yea why did I even ask that, I work for a Chrysler dealership //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif

not quite as peppy as I expected though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif
i agree...its not as powerful as it could be. when you pop the hood theres a whole bunch of unused space that could easily be inhabited by a nice sized 8 cyl.

your going to like a big system in there too. it doesnt rattle much at all and the accoustics are actually pretty awesome.

Today I put a DD 1508 DVC with CF dustcap in a transmision line box behind the rear seat of the wrangler...It is run off the rear chs of my US acoustics old school amp at 2 ohm mono...That thing hits the lows...pretty impressive //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
