2008 camry Head Unit install help

I just removed the factory radio to day to install a new head unit. It has 2 antenna leads. The regular size connector fits in the radio but gets lousy reception an quite a few stations. The smaller connector doesn't quite fit but when I push it into the antenna connector on the head unit the stations that were bad come in good, but I lose other stations that the regular connector got in. Is there a way to use both of these leads(I couldn't find an adapter) so I get all my stations as they should be? I have never worked on a Toyota and this is the first time I have seen this.

Never mind. I figured out why the regular antenna lead alone wasn't getting all the stations. Apparently Toyota uses an antenna booster along with it's dual antenna/tuner diversity system. I didn't hook up the power antenna signal wire because the car doesn't have a power antenna, so I thought it would be useless to connect on the adapter. Toyota uses this lead to turn on the radio signal booster. Without this booster, reception from just their Defroster/antenna sucks balls. All is well now.
