Are these even a viable option. I dont have the time or know how, to build a custom enclosure. I have posted asking if anyone would help. Hell I would make it very worthwhile. I need to have my rear seats and I want to bump. Are these enclosures that bad. And if they are not that bad, what 10'' sub could take about 1k watts at one ohm on .65c3 of air, and get decently loud?

Try to find some 10" TC-1000's....they actually need 5.6" of depth and are excellent subs...each of mine is getting 850rms (when I'm so inclined to momentarily go deaf) from my Sundown SAZ-1500d (set with an oscope...very UNDERRATED amp)

There are plenty of box mfgs out there that can tweek your set up to get a little more

woofer depth...Subthump is not one of them.....I would get/build a seat lift kit

which brings your rear seat up about 2 inches and will enable you to a whole

menu of deeper better subs that a shallow 10"...

Can you recommend a seat lift kit. I dont think I have ever seen one. I really want to do a custom fiberglass enclosure. But I dont know where to begin. If any Indy members would like to spend some time doing some cool fiberglass work, I would make it worth there time. Or if anyone knows of any cool shops indy that would be able to do the job for a reasonable amount of money. I am all ears.
