2007 vw passat alt help

I'm posting this for a friend of mine. He is looking for a high output alt for his pass at. I have looked around and can't find any for this year and make/model car. It has the 2.0 motor. We found one that is 350 amps but he needs around a 250 amp. Any help is appreciated thanks.

I have a Mechman 370A in my 2000 GTi VR6 also fits a 2.0T.

He's looking for a 250 amp or close to that. Doesn't want to spend 800 on a alt. Does that alt fit in a 2007 passat tho? Most alts I've seen for the passat only fit up to 05, they don't seem to make any for a 06 and up

Yeah it lists starting from 06 -08 for a 370A which could be similar to mine, that's too bad. If he is interested I have a Power Bastards "Fitz All" 220A which is universal.
