I know this but supposedly this new (whatever it is) is going to be marketed for stateside consumers.

'Tis still going to be a Nissan Skyline but will be available stateside for the 1st time in the history of that particular Nissan model.

um....no it's not...

It's certainly based off the same platform/drivetrain. It will be given a massage and tuned and tweaked for more pwer and handling, and given a facelift, but deep down still a G35/350z

no they are just the comparable model just like a lexus is300 and the toyota altezza or the skyline and the 240sx. but they sure do look alike nowadays which sucks because the gtr looked so sweet and was a big deal to have in the states.
