2007.5 Silverado, Bypassing Bose and keeping On-star

I put the current system in my 2007.5 HD Silverado, that's in my signature. I ran all new speaker wire and used a GMOS-100 install kit Crutchfield supplied. Right now, I disconnected the factory Bose amp, which is underneath the center console. I do have the SWC working. My question is, can I get the factory On-Star and XM radio to work with the GMOS-100, and would this entail leaving the factory Bose amp connected? The Crutchfield people were not much help in this.
