2006 Maxima W/Bose system

I am wanting to add an Mono amp and 2 12's. I will keep the factory radio so I will be using a Hi-lo converter. Can I just tap into the rear speakers to the converter and then to the hi level inputs on the amp? Or will it hurt the bose amps from the factory? I want to keep my factory radio...Thanx for the help.

yes u got a factory sub on the rear deck on on the right side? if i remember correct.

well if there is a factory sub then you want to tap you line converter into it. the rear speakers may be crossed over and you wont get good low frequency signal on them.

Either will be fine. It may be a combined sub/amp pack, in which case you'd need to take it apart and find the output wires from the amp.
