I am upgrading speakers and adding an 4-channel amp on my 2006 Kia Spectra Sedan.
I will also use the factory head unit.
The amp has speaker level inputs. I will be using the HU high-level outputs and not employ a LOC.
I've searched for a wiring diagram, but have not found one.
My questions are:
1. How do I tap the speaker wires from the HU without destroying the factory wiring?
2. Will the volume, balance, fade, bass, midrange and treble functions of the HU be affected?
3. Does anyone here have specific knowledge on a Spectra install similar to this?
I've read horror stories about speaker fitment (trunk tensioner clearance, front window clearance).
