2006 chevy 1500 Crew

i have a 2006 chevy 1500 crew cab and im looking to put my first system in it and im wondering if i could fit dual 12w3's by JL. I dont have much experience so any imput would be nice. i heard i should run them with a xd700/5 jl amp. if anyone knows how to build this box id greatly appreciate any help.

You would have better luck for fitment on a vehicle specific forum. Fullsizechevy.com has a good truck electronics forum.

JL Audio is good quality but is overpriced compared to what you could get from say Sundown or SSA. JL will sound good but for the same money you could do better elsewhere.
