im thinking about doing some re8 with a set of mb quart qsd216 speakers. the 4" with the 1" tweet.

you could always make a speaker ring, and glass a little cover over it make the speaker stick out slightly farther.

I'm wanting to put some DD 6.5 LT's in my doors and port them through the extra speaker location...then run image dynamics mini horns under the dash....

problem with the doors and all is i dont have leather/vinyl interior. just cloth and plastic. so glassing the doors would result in a terrible looking interior.

personally i would go with the upgraded sound doors, if they looked at all appealing to me, but that big circle sticking out just KILLS the door in my opinion. I may just make pods, but then i have that plastic screen where the stock speaker went.
