2004 Chevy Avalanche Seat Removal help

the console is bolted to a frame that is bolted under the seat tracks. take a 11mm 12point and a 15mm 12point socket and pull the 4 bolts from each seat. Its rather easy

haha i didnt mean plasma cutter to get the bolt out. i meant it to cut the whole **** seat out.

umm...any way you could get a picture? the only bolts ive found on that frame are 16mm 6 point bolts..

look inside the front track. you will see a really weird 15mm nut. then in the rear its an 11mm, ill grab a pic right now.

They will be 6 point bolts .. the 12 point sockets just have more teeth

they have special nuts and bolts. a 12point just keeps you from stripping it

you have to pull the seats to get the console out.

unless you can get your hand under it, then you can take out the 4 bolts that hold the cushion to the console frame

i guess that makes sense..do the console and seats use a common bolt?
