a great sub for the price.

i dont see to many votes for the d2 but then again i only looked at the 4 page so far.

jl 13 W7 is bar-non the best sub on the market

im noticing that most of you are leaning towards these jl 13 w7. is there nothing better as far as 12"ers go? I have an old school punch 500x1...........1000.1 amp. Will this be enough power to push two of these jl's? I want MAXIMUM ground shaking BOOOOOOOOM!!!!!!!!I mean MAXIMUM....Is it true about the rewelding car part ****? Like the trunk latch....how do i keep **** from rattling loose?........Thanx

**** w7's period...for the price of 1 13w7 brand new w/ warranty...i'll take 3 magnum d2's. Also, one that i heard i was not very impressed with at all...may be cuz it was a shop install in their display wall, but yeah...i'll take a magnum ANY day over a w7. peace

i have never heard a Magnum D2... so i cant vote for it...IMO thats the favorite up to this point...

im gonna have to say that from my lil time in car audio i havent found YET, a better sounding sub then a W7...i also love the way they look...soo tight....

but all things considered ...Price, SQ, Loudness...i have to go with

RE XXX's....after seeing them at this one comp...no one could go wrong w/ them...

P.S.

i wish i knew some one with a D2..u all got me hyped up on hearing one

The JL W7 gets my vote. This is the sub the competition targets and is measured against. JL did all the engineering, research and development to produce this precision sub, and its quality and reliability, if setup correctly, is unmatched. Now, if we are voting on the best value sub, I would vote for the XXX or D2. They provide comparable performance and are both incredible woofers, and are less expensive than the W7. But overall, based on overall impact on the car audio industry, as well as build quality, performance, and especially AVAILABILITY, the W7 stands out as the 2003 Sub of the Year.
