Whats the motor in your trail blazer. If its the inline six. Go around and clean all the grounds you see. Had many ppl complaing about lights dimming with stock everything. If you look on the drivers side of the motor there is like three or so grounds spots. Clean them all.bump
We can test your alt output on Sunday. Could be as simple as the belt is worn and slipping or a corroded battery cable. BIG3 should be enough with a YT for the power you have.
You should NOT be dimming on 500watts. GF's car gets slight dimming pushing 1k with stock battery in back and stock 4gauge wiring, and only at full tilt.
If your going to spray anything over them. Use like battery terminal protector spray. Somthin like that. Your going to want to watch thoses spots over the life of your system. And might wanna upgrade thoses ground spots to the battery.I cleaned the 3 ground spots on the drivers side, and one on the passenger side, they were all on the paint, now they're down to the metal. my dad told me to spray paint over it though so it doesn't rust.
U can get o gauge just about any place now ebay Here on this forum. What I ment bye is run a ground wire from your battery to that location on the side of the block were all of those other grounds are. Doing the big should help. Another thing I have never liked caps big waste of money in my book. Ditch it and get some good batteries. Deep cycle two or three total. One in front two or one in back. What do you mean over the life of my system? and how am I supposed to move all those grounds to the battery?
also, i'm planning on doing the big3 soon, where can I get some 0 gauge wiring from?
