Hopefully you get the voltage figured out. A lot of money spent on those amps not to get more RMS out of them.

Nice build and irregardless 159 is crazy! Should be well into the 160's once everything is up to par.

Also tell the dude to pull his pants up. Nothing worse than seeing some *** crack on a burley dude!

Maybe I should do that in my next install. Plumber crack FTW then.

hey man u got pm.... we are stumped. we have tried EVERYTHING (but) different frequencies to see if we are just hitting vehicles peak or what the box's peak and such is. so monday we are going to check from 20hz to 80hz just to see the power output and what db it hits at half volume. we have tried 4 headunits. 16v batteries, 12v batteries. the new 4kws have some crazy protection circuits in them so we are thinking something in our box at our freq is making the amps not like it. so we could be playing too low or too high. who knows right now... too many variables

but the new 4kws have never even got warm even dropping to 10v after every burp. if we had the old 4kws they would have already went up in smoke. very impressed but gotta find the problem. really want that 160 mark

i would say you hit the box peak now you need to fine the vans peak.

thats pretty much what we came to the conclusion with. we found either the box peak or the vehicle peak. thats why we are going to start from 20hz and work our way up to 80hz at half volume and check output numbers and db readings.

its pretty much the last thing we could possibly do that we havent done already.
