well we think that we have a bad cell in one of my older kinetiks. so we are going to try to figure that out. right now voltage is dropping too much for the ammount of batteries i have so TEST TEST TEST.

oh btw the roof is like 4 layers thick. so 3" which is also screwed to the roof braces. its solid. nothing on the roof moves really when we burp or play music.

i think we figured out that it wasnt the voltage because we are only running 6 batteries right now doing about the same number. we are starting to think the new 4kw's do not like .66 ohm on 3 subs because we hooked up 4 subs and 4 amps and managed a 155.5 same box but it didnt cut down on a certain volume when we turned it up so far. it just didnt get any louder. but when we hook up 3 coils per amp at .66 ohm we turn it up and it cuts down the volume after a certain point instead of just not getting louder. we thought maybe the voltage drop kicks some protection on the amp but still allows it to play but not put out as much but it doesnt seem so.

yes that was my 125x4 not the 4kw. the 4kws come with an external fuse block with 2 250 amp fuses in it.
