fvck! lol I like the Silver Flutes but the QTS is pretty low so idk how the midbass will be IB in a car door.
for a good 6.5 midbass, I hear good things about the Peerless SLS. as for me I run the midbass out of the Pioneer TS D1720c set with 125rms to each mid from 350hz down and they pound and are very tight! I'd recommend em. also shallow only 2.5mounting depth.

Before i got my doors glassed I ran 1 set of Silvers IB on a ed9.2 and they destroyed my DDC6.5's that were big POS.

Sounds great. Digs lows, good upper extension. My door speakrrs go down to 63, and the 8 pics up the slack. Got it on a jbl bp 300.1. Stout little amp great combo. Sealed.

You want SQ? I have some Morel MW-267's that have never been used. Under 3" deep, neo motor, Fs in the 20's, and crazy low inductance and distortion...they are 8ohms though, but a cheap 4 channel to bridge is easy to come by.

I have some 8" JL Audio IB subs as well as old school ADS S7 woofers (have grills too!). The JLs are 8ohm and the ADS subs are 4ohm. No idea what the power handling is on the ADS stuff but the JLs are 'rated' at 75w. Makes you scratch your head when you see cheap 4" co-ax speakers rated the same.

Anyways, PM me for more details, pics, & prices.

These are very nice speakers...

ofcourse those were my first choice. I've gotta look at some more reviews though. from the ones I've seen so far, the Peerless ishes on it in low end extension and someone told me the Dayton is not good for IB. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif but I'm gonna ask around some more. theyre in my cart right now though just in case //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

read more reviews and seems the Dayton RS225 should work IB. also saw that the 8 ohm version will get a bit lower..... but if i run the 8 ohm ones I will only have about 60 rms to each driver....if i run the 4 ohm ones....I will have 120/125 on tap to each driver....

any thoughts here?
