Thats not how the shows run as far as I've ever seen.. only exception was carl casper and OH state finals @ drag finals this year - they went from car to car with the meter.

They started the show after 1...when it was slated to start at 10 IIRC.

And people in NY have NO patience...bad idea lol

I was just making a general statement that dB drag shows have far less going on in terms of different formats, so they can naturally go quicker.

Getting set up for all the different formats takes time, then it's a matter of sorting out the cars into the appropriate classes, registering every vehicle (checking subs AND fuses) to make sure they are in the right class, and basically trying to get everything organized.

Mark could give his interpretation of dB drag shows, he has been to more than I have.

it goes show by show... some are just run better than others.

A badly run drag show with alot of people I can see dragging on all night. Same with a badly run MECA show.

IIRC correctly, it clamped at 1200ish watts.

legal scores are only .5 behind the kick... that car loooooves the dash.

Same box in my monte did a 150.4 at 44hz with the one type R 15 and 1550 watts...

I saw earlier in this thread, someone said the 20.1s weren't available to the public...
I swear to god I saw someone buy one a little over a week ago, and the way he bought it couldn't have been more public... so there goes that theory.

1st, i never mentioned the 20.1 specifically....

to get to the point, i am positive the 20.1 is a killer amp.....

it wasn't available to the public last november when the ratings.... as posted on IA's forum 2 days after dbdrag finals was 1800w@1ohm mysteriously changed to 750w for meca.

i'm not knocking the amp, i'm knocking using an amp rating system for competition.
