I am currently running a 3way front stage and I am wanting to switch to a 2 way and I have the Hybrid L1V2s as my tweeters and am wanting ideas on what I should run as a woofer. Any ideas would be awesome.

Thanks,

Brock

I'd like to keep it down as much as possible but if I sell my p9 i dont think ill have a problem so somewhere around 150 for the set. I am currently running the dayton reference series as my midbass and midrange 7 in midbass and 4in midrange. Actually works out pretty well but I am wanting to switch things up a little.

I didn't read this post first, ignore my suggestions.

I am just wanting something that i can use my phone with and it be a little more practical. All my music with the p9 combo has be be on cds and that gets time consuming....Pandora is so much easier //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

If I cant get anything in my budget I will deffinately going to go with a hybrid setup but I was thinking more along the line of L1v2s and maybe some L6s or something like that.

Are the woofers in doors or or pods? If you only have 150$ to spend on a pair of woofers it seems like it would be a mistake to switch from what your currently running. If you want to try 2 way, use your current daytons. If its the rs180 it may be able to run fine in a 2way.

The RS180 doesn't play too well above 2khz-2.5khz...not sure how low those HATs play...but OP, be aware, you'll have a low xover point....

I decided to do a little test while I had the p9 combo. I decided to run the rs180s up to 4k and they sounded pretty good needed some tuning but I think I will be extremely happy with the changes. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
