2 Type-R's, 15ft@32hz ........

Just got done building a new box for my truck, It has 4 cutouts, but I only have 2 subs for now. I plugged off the other two cutouts. My previous setup was 2 of them 3.5ft each @37hz w 88in of port area. The new box is 15ft at 32hz with 3 8" aeros equaling 151 in of port area. I was expecting it to be "sloppy" but still extremely loud with just the 2 hooked up. Its not even close to as loud as before. Even with low low songs. My question is, Is it going to get alot louder when i add the other two subs or not. It seems like its not going to. I want to raise the tuning, would you guys reccomend this? I will have pics posted tomorrow so dont flame me if you dont understand, it will be easier to understand with my pics.

I went so big on the box because I want it to be LOUD. I have probably built over 25 boxes for R's between my buddys and mine, I started out with the usual stupid 1ft sealed a few years ago and they just keep getting bigger and louder every time. My last box I was trying to get 2.6 each at 37 for 3 subs, again only having two subs at the time, plugging off one hole, resulting in about 3.8 ft each and it was very loud and didnt really sound all that bad believe it or not, besides for farting out on about 10 songs that i ever played, even in which it still played them without damadge, Soul survivor, cross that line by rick ross, and a few lil jon songs. If the subs have lasted through this "big box" abuse for over a year why not keep the box big if its louder and i can accept the minor loss in SQ.

I re figured my tuning and it came out to 31 hz in fact, I dont see why anyone would want it this low, you have to search for certian songs to bump loud, I loved the 37hz tuning and I think im going to try to cut these ports down to 35hz before i add more subs.

sweet googley moogley batman, that's a ************************ing huge *** box. There's going to always be a point when the box is just too big to sound good or get loud dude, and I think you went well over that limit.
