With that kind of power I say CVX's

X2 2 cvx 12's would blow both those options out the water i think with 1k going to eahc in about a 4 cub port box i have one in a 2 cuft ported box and it bangs trust me u wont be dissapointed and it takes the 1200 watts im feeding it like a champ

With impedance rise, you won't see that power, so they will handle what you have just fine.

big difference in price...

i had ported cvr 15s and ported r 12s in my car before and the the cvrs were a little louder with less power.

i dont knwo if they would be as loud sealed as the Rs ported.. especially cause i dont know if vrs can take 900 a piece. (1000x2rms Rs ported> ~600x2rms VRs sealed imo.)

you might safer betting with the Rs.

when i said an L7 originally (top of this page) i meant i'd take one L7 ported over two of either of those choices.

Just put an L7 in a ported box in the space you were gonna use for either of the two listed options, and you'll be happy.

i had 2 15in. CVRs in a prefab sealed (about 1.3cf each) off a bx1000d at 1ohm. They got quite loud. U could hear the chandalear (however u spell it) in my house shake. They had punch and got the lows...loved the lows btw. Set off a couple alarms every now and then. Put them in a custom sealed box and ur in it, portem if u got the space. I would buy them again but I dont have that kinda trunk space anymore...they were previously in a 97 Sentra and yes the trunk rattle sounded terrible!!!

As for the power u have available, I dont think they will be able to handle it daily though...

I vote TYPE Rs. They will get loud and sound good doing it. Plus there are dozens of guys on her who feed them 1000w apiece all day long

I fed mine 1500 watts for 3 months and it held up, until I burped it one afternoon then it got toasted.

They might be able to take it if they are in the right box. And I dont think they will see quite that much after impedence rise anyways. But I have seen them take a hell of a lot daily. I want to feed mine more power.

A 15 inch CVR, can take 900 rms. So both subs can handle the power.
