2 Type R 10's Or 1 Type X 12

Heyguys I know I have been posting alot of questions on here but im new to stereo so bare with me. Right now I have two p3s and im doing a whole system upgrade and I saw a pretty good deal on a type x 12 would one 12 be as deep and as loud as 2 10s? And would i save space in my trunk if i got a 12. An Alpine MRD M1005 would be powering either one. This would be going in to a honda civic coupe. Thanks for the help!

sounds good. X's sound great when you put them in .85-1 cube sealed i couldnt belive my ears when i had mine installed

Isn't the X more of a SQ sub compared to the R?
