2 Subs 1 Box or 2 Subs 2 Boxes?

ok

another question

when building a box for a specific sub and it says what the recommended box size is for that specific sub and you want to build a box for 2, how do you know what size to build it?

would you just multiply the box size specs by the amount of speakers you plan on putting in the box? or is there a special formula?

Using the same example as Blackbonnie make sure that the 4ft^3 is NET considering bracing and sub displacement and port and all that
so the displacement of a port including the volume of the port is NOT included in the entire box dimensions?

from what i recall.... I think you might be able to get away with smaller cuft when you combine more then 1 sub.

I don't recall their being a formula for it, but basically, you could run 2 subs requiring 2cuft each in

This is ofcourse only if your strapped for space. If your not, then running them 2x required is ideal.
