my friend has 2 ecluipse titanium 15s and his durango pounds....u can hear him from very VERY far away.....i wanna get somethingthat would be comparible to his....shiould i go with 2 solobaric l7 15s or one eclipse titanium 15??

Considering that your friend has Eclipses, I'd go with a couple of Adire Audio Brahma's, or maybe just one. You can make the Kicker's pound just as much as the Eclipses, but it would be a little difficult to reproduce his clarity at high volumes, assumming he's got his hooked up nicely. Adire is one of the hottest names in car audio right now, and will also cost you less than those Eclipses, which are thought by most to be overpriced to begin with. I'd look into it if I were you.

If done properly, I don't see why not.

You'd have to port it, and throw down pretty hard, and it is ALL about installation, as most hardcore SPL fanatics will tell you. ANY driver can move air, it is how you install and optimize it that matters the most.

I'd say it MAY get as loud, but it will sound MUCH better.

They are 429 each shipped anywhere in the US, or 858 for the pair.

As for amps, I'd go with the jbl 1200.1, or the autotek 1500.1 (personally, JBL myself, smaller footprint, little uglier, but easier to install also), or I run a beta 300 on a 12" myself...

If we are talking pure SPL, strap a single 1200.1 on each coil, tune your box to optimize at your resonant frequency, burp her and watch the numbers climb...

Otherwise, if you have the room, port them, port them low, use a single JBL 1200.1 each, or something similar, and just listen.... You'll love what you hear...

Loudest option would be to port the 15", for sheer spl, a wall and a high tuning frequency. For listening, I'd go with a low tuning frequency ported enclosure of about 24 hz, and work from there.

I'd go with a single JBL 1200.1 on each personally, I don't feel the need for any more power than what they are capable of...
