2 Set up Ideas. Need help. DD or AQ

Well right now I have a AudioQue 1200D, Im debating on running 3 AQ SD2 8's or 2 DD 1508's Im curious will there be a big difference between either set up.

I have heard that they are similar subs. Is that true? I doubt it.

I would run the AQ's simply because I haven't seen anybody run them before and everyone runs the 1508's. That logic goes completely against what makes sense though. Both are solid companies and subs, so it's up to you. More cone area > less I suppose.
