2 runs of 4 gauge or 1/0?

Right now i have 4 gauge to my zx750.1 and 8 gauge to my 2 channel. I am looking at upgrading to a 4 channel amp to give active a shot. Should i just rip out the 8 gauge and put another 4 gauge run in or pull both out and replace with 1/0 and a distro block? Opinions?

if you are going to take the interior out to run a wire anyway, do the 1/0 and distro

1/0 is a little bigger than 2 pieces of 4 awg.

For all the work involved, do the 1/0 and be done in one shot.

Otherwise, you'll always be second guessing if you should have.
