XXX ported. Run it in a low tuned enclosure and the SQ will be amazing. When you set the gains on that amp, just set it to produce the speakers RMS and you will be fine.

How low do ya'll recommend?

just potential to get fairly loud and retain great SQ, not that the XXX wont do the same,

Anyways, how bout 2 12" RE SE's in 4^3@30hz, vs 2 12" RE XXX's, in the same box, given the rms power to each sub, in either setup. How much of an increase in output? And what about sound quality?

LOUDER? figure cone area, efficiency, and cone excursion with the power being constant. Don't know which would win. The SE's in RE's spec'ed box, each 1 in recommended airspace and port in a OIIO looking box hit a 142.x on a TL with RMS power in a SUV. They get loud.

BTW: I have 2 SE's right now, very pleased with them, however, I want louder, and I wanted to know if 2 12" XXX's would be louder, and about the SQ of them, compared to my se's.
